Bonanza: As Jake Smith is dying he asks Ben to look for his heir - Meredith Smith. Six months later and the day before Jake's estate can be given to the rightful heir, Ben is dismayed that he has not been able to find Meredith Smith. Just when he thinks the heir won't turn up, Ben is shocked to find not one but six Meredith Smiths arriving in Virginia City. Ben must now find out who the real Meredith Smith is before he can give out the inheritance.
