The Bill: D.C. Dashwood is moaning because D.S. Greig is playing his clarinet in the office. D.S. Roach is having a drink with a married woman. After she leaves, he recognises a man whose car has broken down as the ex-commander of the murder squad that, Roach is convinced, convicted the wrong man. Meanwhile, back at the station, Dashwood discovers that Roach is due in court in the morning and that approximately 40 witnesses need to be warned.
