Countdown to Murder: In March 2007, Brian Lewis murdered Hayley Jones - his partner and the mother of his four children - by stabbing her with a kitchen knife as she slept. The couple had drifted apart after Lewis lost his job and he became increasingly suspicious of her online activities, with the final straw for him coming when she changed her status to `single' on a social-networking site. This programme uses dramatic reconstruction to chart the key events in the case, using witness testimony, crime reports, forensic evidence and expert commentary.
